Welcome to our
Ohana (family) Kona Kid Coffee Company LLC,
where every sip tells a story!
Hard work, good work ethics, good principles, and always enjoying and giving your best in everything you do, is the traditional Hawaiian heritage we want to pass on to our kids and grown-ups in future generations.
Our journey began with a simple dream: to preserve the Hawaiian cultural heritage of making coffee like the past generations did up to present days; working hard, working with our hands, working with the heart, and always giving our best Aloha spirit. Just like when we were kids playing and learning outside using our hands. We work in the most sustainable way as possible using artisanal methods throughout the entire harvest from start to finish to preserve and ensure the quality of literally each bean; resulting in a tasty, fresh, and reviving flavor in each cup of our coffee.
What is Kona coffee?
Kona coffee is a premium coffee grown on the slopes of Mauna Loa in the North and South Kona Districts of Hawaii’s Big Island. Also known as Kona belt. Only the coffee grown in the Kona belt area can be called 100% Kona Coffee and we are lucky to be part of it. Kona coffee is known for its rich flavor, smooth texture, and aromatic profile. The unique climate of the region, with its sunny mornings, cloudy or rainy afternoons, and mild nights, along with the fertile volcanic soil, creates ideal conditions for growing high-quality coffee beans. Authentic Kona coffee must be grown in this specific region and is highly sought after for its distinctive taste and limited production.
